1. Q: Is DANCE EVOLUTION exclusively a dance school?
A: No, DANCE EVOLUTION is a highly specialised performing arts school that offers professional tuition in Dancing, Singing, Acting, Acrobatics, Fitness, Competition, AND Examination Classes.

2. Q: What Ballet syllabus is taught?
A: We follow the ATOD syllabus

3. Q: Can I observe my child’s class?
A: To maintain student focus and attention, parents and friends of DANCE EVOLUTION students are not permitted in the classrooms. However, we conduct an "Open Week" in the final week of Terms 1 and 2, where family and friends are invited to view all classes. Additionally, family and friends are welcome to attend our mid-year and end-of-year productions.

4. Q: What does the term levy involve?
A: The term levy covers account maintenance, student enrolment, music license, insurance, props for performances, contribution to theatre hire & training equipment for classes.

5. Q: Do you offer family discounts?
A: Yes, if you have more than one child enrolled, you only pay for one levy fee per family, resulting in a total savings of $80.00 per additional child enrolled.

6. Q: What happens if my child misses a class or solo lesson?
A: Unfortunately, no makeup lessons or refunds can be provided for missed classes. This policy also applies to missed classes due to family holidays, extracurricular activities, sickness, or other commitments. Discounts, credits or refunds cannot be applied to your membership for these missed sessions. We strive to keep our membership prices low to ensure that quality education remains accessible to all families, which is why we cannot offer discounts for missed classes.

7. Q: Do I need to notify management if my child is going to be away?
A: Yes, please email reception at contact@danceevolution.au with your child's name and the classes they will be absent from. However, please note that discounts, credits  or refunds are not available for missed classes, regardless of the reason for absence.

8. Q: Are their annual productions at Dance Evolution?
A: Yes, our students participate in an end-of-year showcase.

9. Q: Where are Dance Evolution's productions showcased?
A: Our productions take place at Gladstone Park Performing Arts Centre.

10. Q: What is the cost of tickets?
A: Approximately $40.00 for adults and approximately $35.00 for children aged 12 years and under.

11. Q: Do parents need to make or sew costumes?
A: No, at Dance Evolution, we handle all the costume sewing for you.

12. Q: How many costumes will my child need?
A: Your child will require one costume for each class they are enrolled in.

13. Q: What is the cost to hire costumes?
A: The rental fee for costumes is $40.00 per costume, and this price includes the cost of dry cleaning.
A: The purchase fee for costumes vary from $50.00 +

14. Q: Does Dance Evolution participate in dance and vocal competitions?
A: Certainly! We view competitions as valuable performance experiences for our students.

15. Q: Is there a uniform requirement at Dance Evolution?
A: Yes, wearing a uniform is compulsory at Dance Evolution. We believe in fostering a sense of inclusivity, making our students feel like an integral part of the Dance Evolution family.

17. Q: What can students anticipate on their first day at Dance Evolution?
A: Our team will warmly welcome you on your first day, providing guidance to your classes, introducing you to your instructors, and addressing any queries you may have.

18. Q: What should my child wear to their first class?
A: For their first class, students are welcome to wear leggings and a comfortable top. Once they have decided on the classes they would like to enrol in, we will help assist you in purchasing the appropriate uniform for the chosen classes from our online uniform store.

19. Q: My child loved the class! What is the next step?
A: Reach out to our friendly administration team through phone, email, or at the front office. Inform them of the classes you would like to enroll your child in and proceed with receiving your term invoice. Additionally, this process includes obtaining the studio uniform.

20. Q: How many classes can my child participate in?
A: Embracing the spirit of exploration and self-discovery, we extend an invitation to our welcome week. During this period, students can trial a diverse range of classes, allowing them to firsthand experience the unique styles and offerings at Dance Evolution.

21. Q: Do you provide class packages?
A: Certainly! We offer a varied range of packages catering to every budget. These packages not only provide a cost-effective way to engage with various class styles but also foster a holistic and enriched dance experience at Dance Evolution.

22. Q: What if my child takes a while to warm up to the new environment?
A: At Dance Evolution, we acknowledge that not all students may feel confident during their initial classes. If your child is on the shyer side, we encourage you to persist until they feel comfortable within the new space and discover confidence within themselves.
